“The Every day Present with Trevor Noah” correspondent Roy Wooden Jr. has little time for the Russian athletes circumventing their nation’s doping ban by competing below the Russian Olympic Committee banner on the Tokyo Olympics.
“So let me get this straight: Russia is allowed to compete within the Olympics below the title Russian Olympic Committee, however each time I attempt to present as much as the membership in VIP below the title Trevor Noah, of us received an issue. How that work?” Wooden requested in a video documenting his favourite moments from Tokyo on Thursday.
“Props to the Worldwide Olympic Committee for sending a powerful message to the remainder of the world: ‘Do all of the medicine you need, simply be sure to arrange a shell nation first,’” he cracked.
“Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed, apart from the Russian Olympic Committee,” Wooden concluded. “Faux ID-having motherfuckers.”
