Israeli warplanes struck Lebanon for a second straight day Friday after greater than 10 rockets have been fired throughout the border amid rising tensions with Iran, the navy stated.
The air power is “at present hanging the launch sources in Lebanon”, the navy stated.
“Greater than 10 rockets have been fired from Lebanon into Israeli territory. A lot of the rockets have been intercepted by the… aerial defence system whereas the remainder of them landed in open areas adjoining to Har Dov,” the disputed Shebaa Farms border district, the air power stated on Twitter.
Shiite group Hezbollah, with which Israel fought a devastating 2006 conflict, claimed the rocket fireplace, which got here as tensions flare between Israel and Hezbollah ally Iran.
