Interstate 70 was closed in each instructions via Glenwood Canyon on Monday morning as a consequence of a 17-vehicle crash on the freeway, based on the Colorado State Patrol.
Fifteen automobiles and two industrial motor autos have been concerned within the crash, officers mentioned.
Emergency crews have been on scene working to clear the incident, the state patrol mentioned.
The closure is between exits 116 (Glenwood Springs) and 133 (Dotsero), based on the Colorado Division of Transportation.
Pictures tweeted by Colorado State Patrol confirmed a mash-up of autos going through totally different instructions and slick ice on the interstate.
